is there any update on the progress of this add-on.. I'd love to be a beta tester (I have developer license).. we've been getting "next week" for months. Is there any realistic ETA?

It's actually already in beta testing and is being used by a lot of users. It's currently being tested on an as requested basis.
If you'd like to receive the beta release you can email me directly at carl@rocketgenius.com and let me know if the site you will be using it on currently has an SSL certificate installed on the server and is the WordPress site configured to work with it properly.

Just FYI I already have one developer license (for personal use) and plan on buying another one (for work) when this plugin comes out :)
