ETA Crisis averted....I had some help and once I manually installed the update, all was sweet :) I'm leaving the info below for anyone else who may come across the problem:
I used the auto update tonight - sorry, can't tell you anything about it - because all reference to gravity forms have been completely removed from my blog. All previous forms are gone, and I can't even see the ones I've recently inserted into pages.
