Automatic drop down choice because of link

  1. I have a page of different vendors. Each vendor has a link below their name. Each link goes to the contact page. On the contact form, there is a drop down with the names of every vendor. Is there a way to automatically have the vendors name chosen in the drop down if someone clicks on their specific link? I would rather not have to create a different contact form for each vendor.

  2. Indeed, the query string portion of this link should help you out:

  3. I had done that and it still wasn't working. Realized that my permalink structure was messing it up. Thanks!
