aweber ad tracking

    Thanks for your aweber addon i was able to integrate aweber with our form. But i still need to know how to set ad tracking category for example "form submission" for all subscriber who submitted the form

    Any idea?

    The AWeber Add-On only supports sending AWeber the users name and email address. This is due to limitations int he AWeber API. In short, the AWeber API does not support ADDING subscribers. You can only add subscribers using a basic method that involves sending an email and it only supports name and email address.

    We have talked to AWeber about this and keep prodding them to add this capability to their API because frankly their API is useless if you can't add a subscriber using it. I don't understand having an API that can't do the primary task people need: adding a subscriber. It makes no sense to me.

    But our hands are tied, we can only support what AWeber allows us to support.

    MailChimp and Campaign Monitor, on the other hand, have real API's that allow us to support custom fields, etc.
