AWeber Plugin Not Working

  1. Hello Gravity Forms!

I just created a web form with Gravity Forms on my site: http://www.sohologics.com/contact.html. I am trying to tie that form to AWeber and have run into a problem. The form submits without any errors/issues but the email and name are never sent over to AWeber. I have tried filling out the form with 7 different email addresses none of which have ever been added to my AWeber account.

I currently have the account setup for the Opt-In Condition. Added the checkbox to the form and then went into the Aweber plugin configuration and specified that the checkbox was the key to export to Aweber. I also made sure I picked the correct contact list on AWeber and the form name in question.

I am not sure what other info is needed to diagnose the problem. Please let me know if anything else is needed.

    Software Details:
    Gravity Forms 1.6.1
    Aweber Plugin 1.0
    Firefox 8.0
    Wordpress 3.2.1
    PHP 5.3.3
    MySQL 5.1.49

    I appreciate your response.

  2. Just checking in. Any idea what might be causing this issue?

  3. The AWeber Add-On uses email to add the subscriber, it does not use API intraction to add the subscriber. This is due to the fact AWeber's API was crippled and did not allow new subscribers to be added via an API call.

What this means is new subscribers are added to AWeber by triggering an email that is sent to your AWeber subscription email address using that users name and email address as the Send Name and the Send From Email address for the email that is sent.

If this isn't working, then the issue is likely going to be related to this email not being sent OR the email not being sent properly by the server.

Do the standard email notifications (admin and user notifications) work fine for the forms on the site having the issue?

  4. I'm having the same issues exactly. Standard email notifications are working fine.

New subscribers are just not added.

    Any help is appreciated Carl!

    All the best,

    Ken
