Awesome add-on. What about the tax?

    Hi Carl et al

    Thanks for the awesome Freshbooks add-on. It only dawned on me yesterday just how cool this is.

    For all those who've been looking for Paypal integration, this add-on can be used to set up automatic invoice creation which, through Freshbooks, can be paid online via Paypal. Not quite the same as immediate Paypal payment as a prerequisite to form submission, but pretty damned good where the risk of non-payment is low or manageable.

    I'm now testing it and have one question please. I see that the form feed doesn't have a tax field and the auto-created invoices don't have a tax line (e.g., for goods and services tax).

    Is there any way of incorporating this into the form feeds please so the tax component is incorporated automatically into the auto-generated invoice?

    Oh, and one more question please. Is it possible to enable the invoice to be sent automatically by Freshbooks as opposed to the invoice sitting there in draft?

    Great work on this guys. Awesome add-on. I look forward to your thoughts on the questions above.

    We will have to look into what is possible with the API. I'm not sure of the tax implications primarily because tax is usually dictated by location so that adds complexity by having to have some sort of UI for saying "if field X = value Y then tax = Z".

    It isn't currently possible to automatically send the invoice. Right now it is primarily designed to help eliminate some of the re-keying that goes into creating an invoice/estimate.

    We will look into these suggestions for possible inclusion in a future update to the FreshBooks Add-On.
