Braintree Payments for Gravity Charge and Payment Addon

Oh how I wish Gravity forms had a generic "Payment" addon instead of a Paypal addon.

Braintree is one of the only solutions out there that wraps up a merchant account and gateway together. It's use by the best in the industry and is a viable option for business that knows how to install a proper SSL certificate. Braintree used by the best in the industry like 37 Signals and Github. Please make this a priority gateway if it isn't already. Paypal is becoming unusable as they seek to put their own interests above service providers. Thank you.

  2. We are working on other payment add-ons for Gravity Forms.

The Authorize.Net Add-On is in alpha testing with users right now and will be released as a beta next week barring any major feedback issues from alpha testers. We are also planning an Add-On for Stripe, another newer payment processor.

We are familiar with BrainTree and it is one of the payment gateways we plan on creating an add-on for in the future. Both for Gravity Forms and the Gravity Charge product we have in development.

Any chance Gravity Charge will launch with Braintree or something similar where the user never leaves the site and reoccuring payments are managed on site? Paypal Pro is not an option for many.

  4. Gravity Charge will launch with multiple support for payment gateways that don't require the user to leave the site. I can't guarantee BrainTree will be one of the available gateways at launch; Authorize.Net will be, beyond that I can't provide more details.

Did some research on Stripe. It's by far the best way to go, I'm very excited about this! Discount codes in the new Stripe Addon would be awesome. I guess there's no chance of seeing this before the end of the month. Doing NYE party sales with current Paypal solutions which is less than perfect.

  6. This isn't something that will be available by the end of the month. We just now have the Authorize.Net Add-On in alpha testing and it will be released as a beta release very soon. After that we have other Add-On development we are doing. The next payment processor add-on will most likely be a PayPal Pro Add-On. Stripe wouldn't be until after that.
