Browser Lag with conditionals, calculations, and product fields.

  1. Is it normal for a form to create browser lag when there is multiple product fields with conditional checkboxes, calculations based on product subtotals, and various product fields.

I think it has to do with the subtotal merge tag I added to the functions.php file:

Is there a way to get a subtotal merge tag? Future request?

  2. I didn't notice anything odd while using the form on my end.

I will say that the more complex your form gets the more information there is to process. Usually though this is only the case when you have a multi-page form with an exorbitant amount of conditional logic, etc.

  3. Okay, I think it may just be this older computer I'm working on. It just can't keep up and it freezes the browser on this form for some reason.

Had the boss test it with his brand new laptop and its working smoothly.

    Thanks for the reply.
