BuddyPress Activation - on the radar?

  1. If David Smith is out there, this one is for you sir.

Any progress on getting user activation working with the User Registration Add-On? See this thread from September: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/buddypress-15-activation-workaround

    Thanks!

  2. Yes, there has been progress but it's still going to be a little bit before we integrate it into the add-on as an update.

David has been working on reverse engineering this functionality so that it can be used on standard WordPress installs as well as WordPress Multi-Site installs using BuddyPress.

We will be using it not only for the User Registration Add-On but for Gravity Charge, which is what he's actually working on right now. Once it's implemented in Gravity Charge he will be able to then add similar functionality to the User Registration Add-On for Gravity Forms.

Unfortunately WordPress didn't make it easy to use, it's only available when you have Multi-Site enabled. So we are implementing it so that it works with and without multi-site and is backwards compatible.

  3. Hi Carl,
That is very good to hear. Thanks for the update. BTW, David is awesome at customer interaction and service...

P.S. - What is Gravity Charge if I might ask?

  4. Gravity Charge is a digital membership/subscription and download ecommerce product we are developing for WordPress.

  5. Gravity Charge will be a very welcome product. There is a huge void in managing digital content in the WP world. Can't wait to see it!
