Bug: Forms Disappeared

  1. Created a form. Went to preview and nothing was displayed. Then realized I hadn't entered license. Doh!

After entering license, went to edit forms. No title displayed but clicked on 'edit'. On edit page, no form is displayed, only the 'update' button and 'add fields' sidebar.

Clicking on "update form" button caused it to spin endlessly.

Creating new forms seem to work fine but noticed a few floating help messages moving off the left edge of the screen.

  2. Hey Kristof, so you can create new forms just fine but editing them is not working?

Can you give me a rundown of what you are doing step by step so I can better understand the situation?

We encountered something similar yesterday that we plan on replicating today on a test site and I think this might be the same issue. It's tough when dealing with hundreds of different web hosting companies, different server configurations, WordPress configurations, etc.

Bear with us, we'll get it figured out and resolved.

  3. Everything is working okay right now. I can create and edit forms.

Process: installed plugin. Created form. Went to preview form but nothing displayed. Tried to edit settings but said I need to enter license. After entering license, went to edit forms. No title displayed but clicked on 'edit'. On edit page, no form was displayed to edit, only the 'update' button and 'add fields' sidebar.

My guess is that it didn't save the form because no license was entered. But it acted like it did until I went to edit it. Perhaps prompting user with message if they try to create or save form and haven't registered it?

I'm also not able to view the form. You can view it here http://www.daylitereviews.com/contact-me/ I think this maybe a whole other issue but not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  7. I would need more information, and possibly a login to your WordPress install in order to be able to debug this. It is most likely a different issue as this thread is about the first release of the plugin, and probably doesn't apply. If you can send me this information via the Contact Us form in the top navigation I will take a look and see what is going on.

  10. marujo,
What version of Gravity Forms are you using?
Version 1.3.3 fixes a similar issue. Could you try upgrading to that version (if you haven't yet). If the problem persists, please send me an email to alex[at]rocketgenius.com with a temporary account to your WP admin and I will be happy to take a look at it and figure out what is causing this.

  11. I just found a bug that caused my form to dissapear. When I used conditional logic to hide/show fields based on a checkbox with no label, the whole form dissapeared.

nevermind, this was because i am calling the form with a template function and I hadn't added the scripts functions to functions.php
