Bug with editing conditional logic questions

  1. When I edit questions in a form that uses conditional logic, the form no longer displays on the live site.

What I did was to create a new form from scratch and the conditional logic was working as it should, the form was viewable, and all was good with the form. Then later, I changed a couple of the fields (that had conditional logic applied to them) from ‘required’ to ‘not required.’ This resulted in the form not showing again. It appears that Gravity Forms programming has a glitch that when you go back and change a field that has conditional logic applied it the form becomes non-viewable.

We manually recreated the form at http://wmdpg.org/wm-external-communications-request-form/ (pw: wmec) so that it can be used, however we can't edit any of the questions or we'll lose the form. Help!

  2. I am unable to reproduce this issue locally and nobody else is reporting it. It is most likely due to how you have configured the conditional logic and then changes you made to the fields impacting those conditions.

In order to look into this we would need to see a form that actually has this issue occurring, so you would need to reproduce the issue and then provide us with a link to a form having this problem.

Hi I am having the exact same problem! when I preview the form it is fine. When I insert in into the page and view the page the page is blank. I updated the form to include some conditional fields and this is what has caused the problem.

I will need to recreate from scratch as I am under time constraints and cannot wait for a fix.....

  4. @machonchana Your issue is not the same as the users above. Your issue is most likely a Javascript error on the page containing the form, which is why the form doesn't appear because when a Javascript error occurs your browser won't execute anymore Javascript on the page.

Forms with conditional logic utilize Javascript to display the form, if any Javascript errors exist in your theme or due to another plugin the form won't display because of the error.

If you post a link to the page containing your form we can tell you what the problem is.

We can continue to provide you support via this post, but in the future please post a new support forum request rather than replying to another thread, because while it may sound similar to your issue a lot of times it's a completely different issue which is the case here.
