Campaign Monitor add-on appears to be installed but related admin pages blank

  1. I have the Campaign Monitor add-on installed, and there were no errors during plugin activation - I even deleted, re-downloaded from the Gravity site, then re-uploaded to my site but that did not resolve this problem.

When I go to the Settings -> Campaign Monitor page, the body of the page under the Campaign Monitor title is blank. Looking at the html source, it cuts off right after the title.

When I go to the Campaign Monitor menu item under Forms and click "add new" I get the same thing.

My Gravity forms installation settings are:
    PHP Version 5.2.17
    MySQL Version 5.1.49
    WordPress Version 3.0.4
    Gravity Forms Version 1.4.5

Gravity Forms itself seems to be working fine. Any ideas?

  2. Update: I found a copy of version 1.3 of the add-on and that appears to be working fine. 1.4 is the version that seems to have the problem.

  3. Are you using any other plugins that integrate with Campaign Monitor? If so, try disabling theme and see if the issue persists.

  4. Nope, nothing else. Like I said, version 1.3 works fine. Guess I'll have to remember not to upgrade and test the next version when it comes out.

  5. I'm having the same problem after updating GF to 1.5 and CM add-on to 1.4 (WP 3.1 + Genesis 1.5).

Worst thing is that the registration also doesn't seem to work anymore.

  6. Update: I also downgraded the CM add-on to 1.3 and that seems to work.

  7. I'm going to try to recreate this issue using the latest CM add-on with 1.5 and see if I can replicate it. I'll post back here with an update after I do some testing.

  8. While you're working on the issue, can you post a download link for the older version? I'm having the same issue (the setting page appears blank).

  9. I'm unable to recreate this issue with Gravity Forms v1.5 and the Campaign Monitor Add-On v1.4 which leads me to believe it is a site specific issue, probably a conflict with a plugin or theme that is causing the issue.

Here is a screenshot showing my Gravity Forms Settings page showing the version:

Here is a screenshot show the Campaign Monitor Settings page and it's fully loaded, no problems:

I would suggest testing for theme or plugin conflicts.

To test for a theme conflict:

    - Activate default Twenty Ten theme
    - Check to see if the issue still occurs

If it does not, then something in your theme is causing a conflict. If it still happens, follow the steps below to test for plugin conflicts.

To test for a plugin conflict:

    - Deactivate ALL plugins
    - Activate Gravity Forms
    - Check to see if the issue occurs

If it does not, then one of your plugins is causing a conflict. To narrow it down follow the steps below:

    - Activate each plugin one by one
    - Check to see if the issue occurs after each one

Let me know how it goes. We can't prevent themes or plugins from causing conflicts. This can happen when the plugin or theme doesn't isolate when and where it outputs code or manipulates data.

Just installed this plugin and noticed the same problem. In our case we tracked it down to the following error:
Cannot redeclare class Services_JSON in [...]/plugins/gravityformscampaignmonitor/api/class/services_json.php on line 115

Conflict seemed to be tied to another plugin called "Admin Menu Editor" http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/admin-menu-editor/ as the conflict disappeared once this was deactivated.

  11. @Tom We have released an updated version of the Campaign Monitor Add-On that corrects this issue. It should appear via automatic update soon, it can also be downloaded immediately from the Add-On Downloads page.

Brilliant, thanks Carl, just installed the update and all works perfectly. Thanks for the response and quick action, we're new to Gravity Forms and really loving how easy it is to work with.
