Can GF create Both Post and Comment Areas in my blog?

I need to add Gravity Form functions in my comment area for my posts. I have been told the GF doesn't work inside the comment area with out additional coding.

Someone is thinking it might take 10-15 hours of coding to get GF to work in a comment area. Do this sound high? Is putting the GF in the comment area instead of the post area a lot more difficult to code?

I thought I read where we could create a form that could simulate both the Post and Comment area for a blog. Is this possible?

If so I was thinking I would not need to pay additional amount if it can work

I want to store information on the user supplying the comments to each blog post using Gravity Forms.

Thanks in advance for any help as the web developers have been dragging their feet on getting back to me on doing custimization of GF in the comment area.

  2. Gravity Forms doesn't create comments, only posts. So this would require a customization using available Gravity Forms API hooks. I can't comment on the number of hours, that will vary from developer to developer along with skill level and experience. The low end sounds reasonable with testing, etc.
