Can I make "total" only total certain fields?

  1. I'm kind of pushing the envelope of what this was made for...but....I'm making a data collection for my financial planning business...I used the donation field so that a user can enter things like current investment balance, cash assets, etc. I do want to be able to display the total, but not the total of every field. This document will have multiple page breaks, and I only want it to total each page individually, not a running total. Is that possible?

Should I create multiple separate forms which redirect to the next form rather than make page breaks? That seems reasonable, plus it would limit the potential for lost data on an extremely lengthy form (the paper version I currently use is about 15 pages)

  2. Although...I'm not sure making multiple forms would work since I need to reference data in the first form to determine if certain fields would show in the following forms...for instance...form 1 asks for marital status....form 2 might be financial data, if the user selected single in form 1, I wouldn't want fields visible that ask about spouses investments....Can I set conditions using answers from another form?

  3. I'm starting to find answers to my own questions I guess that's the purpose in a forum :)
