Can I Populate a field with a % value of another field?

Is it possible to populate a read-only field dynamically with a % of a pricing field "total" - This would be a trivial calculation to do in Excel or other programs so was wondering how easy it would be to do in gravity forms?

In the beta we have out, there is a new feature called field calculations. The full version of the next release should be out soon. Read up on it here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/gravity-forms-v1-6-4-beta-1-released/

Beyond that, I would have to look into it. If you are trying to show the tax amount in the front end, the value for that is already shown in the tutorial you linked to before. You just need to pass that value back to your form and display it.

I will be trying to help you with a solution towards that goal soon.

    Hi Dave,

Great, look forward to the new release.

And, yes I was just trying to post up another method of doing this to see if anyone could help. You are right, I am just trying to do the tax calculation as easy as possible now I have the total amount (including tax) and just work backwards. But as you mentioned, I already have that tax calculated, it is just passing it back into a field which I have no clue how to do :(

Thanks for the help out, appreciate it....I will keep an eye on the other post for any solutions you might be able to think of
