Can I let users write custom post types?

Would it be possible to let Gravity Forms let users publish custom post types? I have a cutstom post type 'event' and want my visitors to post their own events on my website.

Is this something I can do with the current Gravity Forms release? If not, will it be available in future release?

It's working flawlessly on our blog. We deal with DJs and party promoters and encourage them to post their event flyers w/party descriptions directly to our site. The form is very easy for visitors to fill out...and for us to manage. Gravity is a dream for us--we jumped on it as soon as the "image upload with post" capability was introduced last month.

Sounds interesting. Are you using custom post types (default post_types are post, page, attachment) for the events? Or are you making posts look like events?

Could this topic be replaced to Feature requests?

  5. We can look into this. We plan on allowing the Post Tags field use custom taxonomy, so this is a logical next step. We will have to look into how things are setup and how involved it will be, but we can certainly look into it for a future release.
