Can not create new form

  1. I have installed gravity forms and click on Add New form to get started and the button just says "Creating form..." for a long time and never creates the form. No error message.

I tried searching for similar problems using multiple search parameters and could not find anything. I tried deleting the plugin and re-installing it. No change. I re-downloaded the plugin and re-installed the newly downloaded version. No change. I tried opening in explorer instead of Chrome. No change. I can not create a form.

Probably something simple I am missing, but can not find it. Please help.

Can you go to Form -> Settings and turn on No Conflict and see if that helps? If not, then can you please go through the following to isolate the issue? http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

  4. Same was happening to me (only in IE8), but David's suggestion of activating the No Conflict mode has worked. Now we are able to create new forms again.

I had tested for a plugin or theme conflict before trying this, and had found none.

I hope on your next update you remove this coz if we don't check the forum, we will never know what's the problem.

The previous versions were okay so I hope you fix it.

@feilamsol the issue with the add new form modal being stretched up off screen so you can't enter a form name in not due to a problem with Gravity Forms. It is being caused by other plugins whose developers don't follow WordPress best practice and instead include their scripts and stylesheets on all admin pages instead of just their own.

We provide the 'No-Conflict Mode' to try and prevent this issue but that won't work if the plugin developer hard coded the links to their scripts and styles, when they do that there is nothing we can do to prevent the conflict.
