Can user add form groups?

  1. Hi, I was thinking of purchasing your plugin, but I had a question before I did. With a gravity form, can the user add a group of fields? For example, I am making a website form for clients. I want to provide a form where the user has capability of adding a form set by clicking a button. So it would look like this:

    Page Name: ________________

    Content: ___________________
    ____________________________
    ____________________________

    + Add Page

Does this make sense and is this possible?

    Thanks!

  2. Dynamic field duplication where new fields are added in this fashion is not currently possible. We are certainly interested in adding this functionality in the future, but it's not at the top of the list as we have other features that will be introduced before this one.

  3. @carl are there any updates regarding dynamic field duplication yet?

  4. No update, we had other features that were a higher priority such as multi-page forms, pricing fields, PayPal integration, etc. Dynamic field duplication is much more advanced than it sounds and is going to potentially require significant changes to the form editor, data structure, and anywhere field data is displayed (entry details, notifications) not to mention hooks and dynamic population.

We just went through a very complex change to support multi-page forms and we have no immediate plans to implement dynamic field groups as described by the user above. We do plan on implementing a list field where a user can add additional items relatively soon, but not grouped fields. It is a feature we would like to add in the future, but it isn't on our immediate to do list.
