Can you "quick test" a notification e-mail?

  1. With the introduction of rich text e-mail notifications, I'd like to be able to see how my notification e-mail will look when in an inbox.

Is there a way to "quick test" a notification for a form, a button or such that I am not aware of that simply triggers the notification to an e-mail address?

Alternately, and obviously, I'll have to fill out the form and erase the dummy entry to get the e-mail and test it's formatting.

  2. You might need to do a search for an online tool of sorts that could allow for some previewing/quick testing, rather than submitting the form each time. Currently that's the only way GF works for that, especially if you are using a lot of merge tags. But there could be some kind of tool out there (probably a paid-for service) that will allow you to preview your HTML email in various formats/apps.

  3. Cool, makes sense, just wondering if there was something better as I want to go through my forms and re-vamp the notifications with some rich text.

There currently isn't anything built-in to do this in Gravity Forms, but I definitely do understand the interest. You'll just have to delete the data when you are done with it.
