Canceling user registration after paid term is up?

  1. Hi! I am creating a site where I will need to allow new users to register by PayPal payment (got this taken care of with the user registration and paypal add-ons) BUT where I'm running into trouble is that all users will be temporary and will only have access to their site for the time they initially sign-up and pay for, so I need to know how to integrate that into the forms, if possible.

For example: I will have plans that are similar to something like $4.50 for 1 month, $12 for 3 months, $25 for 6 months and so-on, so they will select the option that they choose to do and pay via PayPal and then their site would need to only be active for that amount of time that they selected.

I'm sure this is a custom thing but any help would be appreciated!

I wasn't sure whether to post this in the PayPal or User Registration forum so if I had posted incorrectly, I will be glad to repost, just let me know.

    Thanks!

  2. Hi Jessica,

If you set these payments up as subscriptions (via the PayPal Add-on) and have User Registration feeds active for these as well, you'll see some new options on the PayPal feed like so:

This will allow you to update the user to a lower role level and deactivate/delete the site when their subscription ends or if they manually cancel the subscription.
