Cannot clear a parameter name

    I've entered a parameter name in the Advanced tab of a post_category field, but I can't get rid of it anymore: if I clear the field, save, edit another field, and return to the original field, the parameter name is back. Is this a bug?

    Are you referring to the "Allow field to be populated dynamically" functionality?

    If so, just uncheck the "Allow field to be populated dynamically" if it is not needed.

    There does appear to be a bug where it is pre-populating it with a value if you leave it blank, but that is because it is required IF the checkbox is checked.

    So if you aren't using it, simply uncheck the checkbox.

    Are you able to change the value, save, and it retain the new value?

    I also had this problem. However the problem I now have is that I cannot insert a Parameter Name at all !
    When I enter a value for Parameter Name (after checking "Allow field to be populated dynamically" ) and click Update Form, all appears to go well. However when i go back into the form the name has disappeared ! It seems to be zapped each time I update & save the form.

    I think I have traced the problem - Effing IEX !!!!!
    Seems to work fine on Chrome. Could be a JS issue ?
