cannot edit form fields

  1. I have just encountered this problem with one of my websites. All others I have just verified are fine and working properly. But anyways...I am trying to create a new form, and within the form editor & when clicking on "edit" (hovering over a form field), does nothing. I can delete, duplicate, move, but i cannot edit. Clicking the edit button does nothing. No errors, just nothing happens..ive rebooted my computer, tried different browsers...the problem still persists!

  2. Please test first by checking for theme and plugin conflicts following these instructions http://rkt.gs/testing

When the Form Builder is unresponsive, it is usually due to a JavaScript or jQuery error which conflicts with the Gravity Forms jQuery. It could also be an out-of-memory memory error but that typically shows up when you go to save the form, not when attempting to show/hide form builder fields.

  4. What versions of Gravity Forms and WordPress are you using? If Gravity Forms does not work on one site and works on other, identical sites, there has to be something different with the site which is not working.

Are you able to upgrade to the latest version of Gravity Forms to see if that solves your problem?

The latest version is 1.6.11, can you download it from our site and upload it manually and let us know if that fixes your issue?

Most likely, it was the update. Glad you got it sorted out.
