Installed Form and all was OK. Created my new form. All of a sudden I cannot find the Form link on the left navigation in the admin area. It indicates Gravity Form is activated in the plugins page. What is going wrong. I am using WP 3.0.1 Could this be the problem?

Gravity Forms works fine with WP 3.0.1
You've probably installed the "Members" role plugin and need to go and set permissions for admin users to see the form. That 's usually why this happens.
