Can't edit form fields

  1. For some reason I cannot edit the form fields on a newly created form in a fresh WP install. This is the first time I have ever experienced this issue.

I have access to all of the settings in the first form field - the one with the form name, etc - but all subsequent fields are locked. They change color when hovered over, but clicking the edit option does nothing. I can delete the fields, however.

I am using Thesis 1.8.5 w/ WP v.3.4.2. I switched themes to TwentyTen and de-activated all plugins, but the problem persists.

    Any ideas?

  2. Are you able to create new forms? And do the forms work on the front end now?

Can you try a completely different browser to see if the issue is browser based, or there is cached information?

  3. I can create new forms, the forms will submit -- I just cannot edit any of the form field titles, descriptions, settings, etc...

I've tried in Chrome, Firefox & Safari, all with the same result. I've cleared the cache multiple times, still no change.

The Duplicate & Delete options on the form field editors work just fine. the Edit option is the only one that is "dead" when clicked.

  4. I never did get to the bottom of this issue, but I was able to correct the problem by deleting the plugin, emptying the database tables, then re-installing. It worked fine after that.

If anyone else experiences a similar issue, then hopefully this suggestion will help. :)

Interesting that a re-install would help fix things. Thanks for letting us know.
