Unable to edit form fields in my gravity install. Here is a quick snapshot of the stack:
    PHP Version 5.3.3
    MySQL Version 5.1.67
    WordPress Version 3.5.1
    Gravity Forms Version 1.6.12
    --
Clicking on edit (field) doesn't shows up the edit option. I have tried deactivating all the plugins and even then it didn't work (on 2012 theme).

  4. I am also experiencing what sounds like a similar problem. I created a registration form and then decided to link it to Paypal so I upgraded my Gravity Forms license to a Developer's license and activated the Paypal plugin. Since then, I have not been able to add form fields to my existing form or create a new form. When I select a form field option to be inserted into my form, i.e. "Product," the word "product" in the box turns red, but nothing happens. It doesn't insert the field into my form. The form as it now stands works fine and I can edit the notifications without a problem, but I can't add to the form.

  5. I am using Gravity Forms with Developers License and I am experiencing the same problem...everything was working fine and then about two weeks ago I was no longer able to make changes. Forms would not save the changes I made. I could, however, still start from scratch and recreate a new form. This morning I updated to latest version:

    PHP Version 5.2.17
    MySQL Version 5.0.96
    WordPress Version 3.5.1
    Gravity Forms Version 1.7

Now I cannot create new forms. Tried using Chrome and Explorer. Theme is Weaver II Pro, based on Twenty Twelve theme.

Only recent plug-in change is Constant Contact feed GF add-on.

Again, anyone that is having this issue, please do the following, we made many changes in Gravity Forms for our 1.7 release, in part to prepare for WordPress 3.6 and some new theme or plugin conflicts may have arisen - http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

Just wanted to add..I too have a developers license and just installed Version 1.7.1 and I now cannot even create a new form. I will start with your troubleshooting as suggested. Bit frustrating though...

  10. We noticed what I think is the same problem. We couldn't edit any fields.

I also noticed that the Add Form page displayed some information about another plugin we were trying out, Event Registration. We were trying both Gravity Forms and Event Registration out for the same purpose -- in order to determine which we wanted to use.

I disabled Event Registration, and then Gravity Forms worked properly. We can edit items, and the information about Event Registration does not appear on the Add Forms page.

We probably won't want to have both plugins active on the same site once we're in production, but I thought you'd like to know.

These kind of conflicts exist because third party plugins add scripts to all admin pages, instead of just their own.
