Can't edit forms, I get kicked out of admin to homepage.

  1. Ok so this has been going on for a couple weeks now, when i try and update anything on our forms, we are getting kicked out of WP admin and sent to the homepage of the website. We have two forms on the site http://www.blendswap.com, the contact form works great and updates just fine, but the submit blend form is the one that will not update. Any thoughts?

  2. This sounds like either some sort of strange PHP memory issue, or a conflict being caused by a theme or plugin. I actually haven't seen or heard of this specific issue being reported before.

Here is what we would suggest...

    1) If your PHP memory settings are relatively low, I would suggest increasing your available PHP memory to a minimum of 64 MB and ideally 128 MB or more. Here is a tutorial on how to do so:

    http://www.nerdgrind.com/increase-wordpress-and-php-memory-limit/

    2) Test for plugin and theme conflicts by following the instructions here:

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

Something on your site, most likely some other code in a theme or plugin, is causing this issue. The steps above should help narrow it down to determine what the source of the issue is.

  3. Looks like the issue was with Wordpress File Monitor. The two don't play well together.
