Captcha Issue In IE

  1. Hi,

I am having an issue with Captcha in IE,

I have my contact form aligned to the left and when viewing the form on my contact page it shows it correctly under Firefox, however when viewing it with IE it shows the Captcha text above the captcha box and aligned to the left.

Can anyone help how I can get both Firefox and IE displaying the same layout

  2. If you will share a URL to your form page I'll be happy to take a look at the issue.

  4. Looks like reCaptcha may have changed some of the markup/styling it uses so I'll have to investigate and see what i can find. I'll post back here as soon as I do.

  5. Is it possible to change the reCaptcha to a smaller size. Let's say shrink the size by 10%.
In my case I prefer a reCaptcha slightly smaller.

    PLease advise.

    Thanks

  6. reCAPTCHA is a 3rd party service. The size can't be changed.

If you want an alternative captcha you can install the Really Simple Captcha plugin from the WordPress.org plugin repository. Once you install and activate this plugin it will add an alternative Captcha option to the Captcha field in Gravity Forms.

  7. Joe,

I tried in several different themes on a couple of sites and I was never able to recreate your Captcha alignment issue in IE. I'm assuming it must be a CSS conflict with your theme or something. I see that you've changed to the Really Simple Captcha option so I can't really debug that for you any further.

  8. Thanks for the information regarding Really Simple Captcha. I have installed this plugin and after some tweaking, turned out to be a better solution.

Thanks, you have been most helpful.
