I have setup a form, with several category fields, but validation is not working - forms/posts can appear to be submitted without any category selected, but posts do not show up in the list of posts.
I tried to work out if I had missed something, but it all seemed ok. Anyway, to save time I created a new form, with minimal fields, title, post body, and 3 category drop-down fields, all with validation and a placeholder, but still no validation message if a category is not selected.
I have also tried this on another server/Wordpress install, ( a very minimal form) and also on my test (localhost) server, same issue.
I have looked through the forum, but haven't found anything related to this. As we have about 200 categories on the site, this is very important that our users select a category when submitting.
