Change progress bar numbers to be one step behind

    Hey guys,

I want to change the progress bar percentages to read out as if they were one step behind.

For example, step 1 of 4 actually be 0% instead of 25% because it seems slightly missleading that you actually have to go one more step to PayPal even though the bar on the last page reads 100%

Personally when I see a progress bar at 100%, I immediately think I have finished. This will confuse people when combining it with one more step (paying through paypal).

It must use some calculations that can't be changed but maybe there is a workaround?

    Cheers!

  2. Andrew, here is another user's experience with the progress bar, asking the same question as you (starting it at zero):

Thanks for the link. It's regarding the percentages but the dude on that page moved the bar to the bottom (which works just fine) but I was really looking to start at 0%

Do you think this is easily acheived or should I just wait until 1.7 ?

    Cheers

  4. I think it might be a while before 1.7 comes out.

You could probably change it with jQuery. I will ask the guys if they have any suggestions.

  5. Hi Guys,

Here is a snippet that will start the percentage from 0. You'll notice it functions a little different from the default progress bar as it is a jQuery/CSS hack. Just paste this in your theme'e functions.php Hope you enjoy.

  7. @andrew, the next version of Gravity Forms (1.6.3, which is being finished up now) will allow you to start a 0% and have 100% displayed on the confirmation as well. If this solution from David did not work for you, the 1.6.3 version of Gravity Forms should address your concerns.
