Change year data range in an individual drop down - Not all year dropdowns

Although these suggest the filter required to adjust the year range in the drop down, it appears to change all the year dropdowns.

I need to change just an individual drop down, to run from 2010 - 2016, whilst maintaining the 2012 - 1920 dropdown for DOB.

Also, I have a requirement to change month from numbers to month names - i.e. 1 - January, 2 - February etc etc.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Did you figure out how to do this? I have the same issue -- I need a date of birth dropdown and a future years dropdown within the same form. I've been trying to make sense of the various help postings about year settings, but they all seem to refer to some fancy visual calendarized version of date picker and to modifying the settings for all date fields vs. only some or one.

Is there a way to pinpoint this to just certain dropdowns?

I need to implement a date of birth dropdown that can't be in the future, and an expiry date dropdown that should be set to a date in the future...

    Any tips appreciated!

  4. @wmboy, do you have a link to the form online, and can you tell us which drop downs you want to target, and which should be left alone? Thank you.

Sure, the URL is http://flyadriatic.co.nz/quote/ (user: admin, password: password12).

If you go through to page 2 of that form you'll see the date of birth dropdown (id=field_8_48), and the date of expiry dropdown just below it (id=field_8_51).

Thanks in advance for your help!

  6. It does not appear that this filter can be used selectively on just some date fields. It looks like you would need to use something like jQuery to modify one of the date drop downs.
