Changing the addition sign to a multiply sign in the pricing option field

  1. Hi,

Is there any way to change the addition sign (+) to a multiply sign (*)?
Kindly refer to the below link provided:
    http://www.chiefthrifty.com/?page_id=4&preview=true&preview_id=4&preview_nonce=2a458a968d

    __________________
    Exchange Rate*

    USD +$ 1.29

    EURO +$ 1.68

    GBP +$ 1.75

    _________________

I would like the above to be shown as follows instead:
    USD *$1.29
    EURO *$1.68
    GBP *$1.75

    Thanks!

  2. We can't see your form preview unless we are logged in to your site as an administrator.

You can use the gform_format_option_label filter to change the display of the option pricing: http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gform_format_option_label

  7. Hi Chris. Thank you for your reply.

Kindly check out the link provided: http://www.chiefthrifty.com/testing/

I would like the Exchange Rate field to be a multiplier instead of the default addition. Is this possible?
Such that when the customer enters the price field and the quantity field, and chooses the exchange rate, the formula should be:
price X quantity X exchange rate

  8. It sounds like you want to use these options as multipliers, not just change the display from + to * (you want it to work that way as well.)

In that case, I would not use options at all. I would use additional products and then use a calculation field which multiplies the initial value by the value of the exchange rate.

  9. Thanks for your reply. In that case, what should i do to make the total field reflect the same amount shown on the calculation field?

  10. I have used the calculation field instead and it works! Thanks!

However, when a notification email was sent to the customer, there is an additional total field. Is it possible to remove it? Kindly refer to the following link: http://www.chiefthrifty.com/testing-2/
The total: $28.50 is the correct amount. I would like to remove the total ($57). How do i go about in doing it?
    Many thanks in advance!
