There are many situations in which I don't intend to ask users from which Provence or Region they are. So basicly I'd like to be able to hide this field just like I can hide Country and Address Line 2.

Hey Jan, we can look into adding this as a feature in the future. What you may be able to do now is use CSS to hide this field. If it's a required field you can then use CSS to hide it and a hook to pre-populate it so that it validates. Either way the user won't see it.
