Choose From Existing Images

  1. I am wondering if it is possible to give users a choice of a few pre-defined images in the event that they don't have an image of their own.

You can see the form I'm building here: http://www.internationalcremation.com/submit-obituary/

The issue is that the post type the form is mapped to requires an image in order for it to display correctly and not all families have a picture of their deceased family member.

These are the posts that are being created using the form: http://www.internationalcremation.com/obituaries/

I would like to give them the option of choosing that "Remembered Always" image or a couple of other pre-defined images if they don't have any images of their own.

    Is this possible?

  2. Currently this isn't an option. The Post Image field can be set to required. If your theme requires a photo I would suggest setting the post status to draft and then you can add an image manually before publishing the post. Or you could customize your theme so if there is no image it uses a default placeholder.

  3. Carl,

Alright thanks. I'll probably just go into the theme and set up a default image for when none is attached.
