Classifieds Theme Integration

  1. Hi,

I'm working on a website for a client, http://www.CaseReferral.org, using the Classifieds theme from Templatic. I want to replace the default Classifieds front-end submission form with a Gravity form, as the current one - located at http://casereferral.org/?page=ads - is nearly impossible to modify without serious, time-consuming customization. My goals are to transfer the existing fields on that form to a new Gravity form and add:

    1. A text field for "Ratings and Memberships" (I manually coded this into the current front-end submission page, but it is not translating to the database/profile page correctly)
    2. The ability for the user to select multiple practice areas (each practice area is a category).
    3. The ability for the user to select a state from a drop-down menu, then the city from that state (a "drill-down" sort of feature). (I'd also make categories for each state and city, so I'd need the ability to only be able to choose from the state and city categories, as opposed to all of the categories, because including practice areas in that field just wouldn't make sense :D)

However, I want this new Gravity form to integrate with the already installed PayPal system on the theme, then display all of this information as custom fields on the profile page - http://casereferral.org/2012/01/06/chris-placitella/ . Can someone point me in the right direction to accomplish these goals? If not directly on this forum, a tutorial somewhere else? I am completely lost and Templatic support is subpar, so any help at all would be greatly appreciated - if you need me to clarify anything, let me know. Thank you for your time and help, and I hope to hear back from you soon.

  2. Hi, Diana,

You had submitted a Priority Support request for assistance with this site. I wanted to check if you still need assistance with this post, or if we covered everything in your Priority Support request you had entered.
