conditional values

Is it possible to have a conditional where with the following scenerio?:

I would like a section to appear if A and ( B or C ) are selected. A is a single checkbox acknowledgment that must be chosen. B and C are a pair of radio buttons of which they must choose one to proceed. Is there a way to do this?

Ultimately, I would like a condition in the drop down to be that any value has been attributed to a field. And then use this in combination with another field having a specific value.

The reason for this is that if B is chosen, there is an extra question we need to ask before they can proceed.

If anyone has insight how to do this, I would be most grateful! (I would include a link, but the site is behind a firewall.)

PS -- Itunes has another approach in the way you can build smart playlists -- all of these plus any of those

Another thought along these lines, is can you have nested sections?

  3. Conditional Logic is limited, you can only do what the available UI allows you to do. It doesn't support complex conditionals. Turn on Conditional Logic on a field and you will see what options are available, it's a simple show/hide if ANY or ALL conditions are met.

I'm not sure what you mean by Nested sections.

If you want to show or hide an entire group of fields you can place a Section Break above them and apply conditional logic to that Section Break (not the individual fields below it). When you do this, conditional logic applies to all fields below that Section Break up to the next Section Break. When doing this you would have to add another Section Break where you want the conditional logic to end.

Perhaps this feature is something to consider for the next update! ;-)

A nested section would be one section fully contained in another section instead of purely sequential sections. So Section B were in Section A, Section B start after Section A, but end before Section A. It would be contained in Section A. This way it could only appear if Section A appeared, but could have an extra conditional placed on it, so I would appear only if section A appeared and its conditionals were met.

Another cool feature would be an introduction of appearance of sections into the logic. If a section were visible, its value would be on, and that could be a condition for something else.

All that said, I just bought gravity yesterday and I think it totally rocks! I'm sure it can do things I have not figured out yet. Very awesome job and well worth the $200.
