Hello,
After I installed the User Meta plugin ( http://user-meta.com ) , I noticed that notifications have been coming through in raw html code when that plugin is installed. I have Version 1.6.4.2.1 of gravity forms installed and Version 1.1.2rc3 of User Meta Pro installed. I doubt there will be a difference with the pro and the free version. It was happening with both.

RESOLVED.
I submitted this issue to the user meta plugin team and they resolved it. It was a simple setting in their plugin that told the server to send plain text by default whereas it was overriding all of the emails even the ones gravity forms sends.
The resolution:
Go to User Meta >> Settings.
Finds “E-Mail sender settings” from General” tab, change Email format from Plain Text to HTML.
Save Changes.
