Create Draft to Custom Post Type

    Can I use the Post Fields to create a post submission that would go to draft status for a custom post type rather than a standard post? (I read some similar posts but couldn't tell if they were asking the same sort of question).

    Yes. Are you having difficulty with creating the custom post, or with making the custom post a draft?

    There is a 3rd party add-on (not created by us) which will help you with Custom Post Types and Gravity Forms: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-custom-post-types/

    Looks good Chris and I'll give it a try on Saturday when client's office is closed. I love Gravity's commitment to keeping up with updates. It appears currently that BradVin is up-to-date, too. Do you think this plugin will stay compatible with future updates?

    Over time, there will be quite a bit of work resting on this if I implement it.

    You can check with BradVin regarding staying current with us.

    Before that plugin was created, I did this by hand for Custom Post Types on one particular site, so, there is always a way to pull it off.
