    hello,

    i would like to generate the title of a post automatically by 2 fields.

    i have the following fields:

    * Posttitle
    * Customfield: Interpret
    * Customfield: Songtitle
    * body

    the title should be generated automatically like this: interpret - songtitle.
    for this i have the setting "Create Post title template: {Interpret:4} - {Songtitle:5}"

    now my question:

    * how can i hide the field title?
    * why the title is not automatically generated?

    thanks for your help

  2. Here is what you would do...

    - Edit the Post Title field
    - Turn on the Content Template functionality
    - Configure the Content Template for the Title using the "Insert form fields" drop down to insert the variables for the fields you want the values of.
    - Select the "Advanced" tab
    - Set the visibility of the Post Title field to Admin Only
    - Save your form

    If you configured it properly it should now not display the Post Title to the user, but populate it based on what you configured in the content template.

    I'm not 100% sure if Gravity Forms v1.4.5 supports hiding the Post Title, I'm pretty sure it does. If not it is supported in Gravity Forms v1.5 which is currently a development release.
