Creating a Survey Form that Generates Results based off user Selection

  1. A client of mine has a page she want's to create. She has several questions she wants to ask the user about the kind of colors, items, places, etc..that the person likes.

Based on the answers to these questions, the user is presented with a design pallet that was created based off the users feedback. It seems she has about 7 different design pallets that would b assessed and generated based off user interaction.

What should I do to achive this sort of functionality? It's kinda like one of those fun quizzes you take that tell you "what kind of person I am and "when will I die?". haha.

  2. It sounds like you should be able to do this with conditional logic, you'll just need to map out and configure all the possible scenarios per question combinations to show the correct palette(s) based on the answers. How many questions are there and are the answers always going to be pre-determined selections?

  3. I think conditional logic might be too simple for this. She had 11 questions and she may want more. but based of those questions she would show them 1 out of 7 different incomes.

After searching support under the keyword "quiz" it looks like this isn't an easy functionality yet and I will have to go with a different plugin to achieve this effect. darn-it. I would just assume this would have been part of gravity forms, but hopefully I will see it in the near future! preferably, before my license is up. haha
