CSS Class Name edit not sticking

  1. I found your Ready Classes, they sound great, but now when I enter them into the advanced tab on my checkbox element, update the form and go back...the field is blank.
I entered one in a field yesterday and it stuck so well I can't change it?
    I'm running Atahualpa 3.6.7 Theme, WP 3.1.2 I think.

  2. It's hard to say without seeing your form editor. It could be a caching issue or some problem with your theme or another plugin. I do know there have been lots of theme-related issues with the Atahualpa theme in the past.

Have you already tried testing for a theme/plugin conflict?

If so, and you're not having any luck, you can send us an Admin login to your site via our contact form and we'll check it out as soon as we can.

  3. The problem is only with the css class name field, everything else saves fine. I'm running in multi-site and only have the problem in some sites though all sites use the same theme. I can't give you access, since it's all behind a firewall at the moment.

  4. It's difficult to debug without being able to access the site. Nobody else is reporting this issue. I would suggest testing for plugin and theme conflicts as Kevin described above.

  5. I have done a lot of theme and plugin compatibility testing...can you tell me where the css class name info is stored, file system or a specific db table?

  6. So, I guess is was just a pasting of the name from your website...not sure how it worked on the one site, but it seems to be fine when I type instead of paste...just love web debugging! ;)

  7. If you are copy-n-pasting from the web site, this doesn't always work because depending on your operating system and browser you could be copy-n-pasting additional code and hidden characters. This is common on computers running Windows. It's best to type it in or copy-n-paste from something like notepad or a text editor where hidden characters and additional markup isn't going to be carried over.
