Custom field - type checkbox

    Hi,

I experienced a bug and I think it's related to this topic:

    'Checkbox default status=selected...bug?'

It occurs when I create a checkbox group with more than 10 options USING THE CUSTOM FIELD OPTION under post fields.

I make the group mandatory so you have to select at least one option.

When I do this and select the first couple of checkboxes (1 to 10), everything is fine.

When I select boxes from 11 and up, the checked status is lost upon submitting.

When I check only boxes above 11 and up, I do not get passed the mandatory validation because the checked status is lost.

It does not occur when I just create a regular checkbox group with the standard fields.

Something to pay attention to I think, it's really affecting my setup. Now I have to find some other way to get these selections linked to my post...

  3. We are not able to replicate this problem.

What version of Gravity Forms are you running? There was a bug in really old versions, but I don't think that's affecting you. Here is the link to that topic for reference:

I also recall this discussion which was similiar:

Finally, you can always ensure the issue is not coming from a theme or plugin conflict by following these instructions http://rkt.gs/testing
