When I add new custom fields using wordpress plugins such as Types, or verve meta boxes - I want to then have these custom fields show up as "custom field" choices...
However the list of options for custom fields do not appear to be updated to include these??
Please can you help?
Hi Mayhem,
The custom field choices are generated from custom fields that currently have a value on the site. When you create a custom field via Types or Verve, you're actually just creating a place holder that is specific to that plugin. It doesn't actually become a WP custom field until it is populated with data.
You can add these custom fields manually on a per field basis by simply entering the custom field key which that custom field is associated with. This will store the value in that custom field when Gravity Forms creates the post.
