Is it possible to make a field where people need to just fill out 1 number,

    like those 1+1 questions

    and make the field required?

Beacuse ReCaptcha is sometimes a bit confusing for visitors.

  2. Version 1.4 introduced a reCaptcha alternative, integration with the Really Simple Captcha plugin. One of the options is a simple "math challenge" that you're referring to.

  4. I have been having trouble with ReCaptcha so I deleted it. Really Simple Captcha looks like a great alternantive. Since I once used ReCaptcha, Gravity forms ( I upgraded to v1.4) keeps telling me to register it (I have license keys that I have deleted because I don't want to use it )- I've deleted Recaptcha off the site, installed the Really Simple Captcha plugin and Gravity Forms hasn't recognized it and wants to install ReCaptcha. Any ideas?

  5. I'm a little confused as to how you deleted reCAPTCHA off your site? Gravity Forms doesn't install reCAPTCHA. It's built in to Gravity Forms, there is no removing it. If you don't want to use reCAPTCHA you just don't add a reCAPTCHA field to your form. That is all there is to it.

When you add a CAPTCHA field to your form it's going to default to reCAPTCHA. There is an option on the CAPTCHA field to select Really Simple Captcha if you have it installed.
