Custom Taxonomies (Select box style)

    Hi,

I know there have been a lot of posts about custom post types and taxonomies, but I can't find anything about what I'm after.

I've just read this topic here: http://forum.gravityhelp.com/topic/custom-taxonomies

It is similar to what I want, but my form needs to SELECT boxes of different taxonomies (for Listing Category, and Listing Location) -- (as in, not tag styles). I'm a bit lost how to do this, as I presume it uses another hook apart from gform_post_data and gform_post_submission?

Not particularly bothered how hacked it is, but it'd be great if there's a solution for this.

    Cheers!

  2. The topic you linked to describes how to implement custom taxonomy.

I'm not sure what you mean by select boxes of different taxonomies. The code you linked to shouldn't care what type of field it is and the taxonomy field in the latest version of Gravity Forms can be a drop down or checkboxes as well as a text input so the code referenced in that thread should still work regardless of the field type.

Yep, cheers. Managed work out how to render as drop-down. I hadn't updated to the latest version of Gravity Forms.

For now I'm just manually populating the select boxes. I just need to work out how to populate them dynamically with my custom terms now. Shouldn't be too hard...

    Ta!
