Date format when using GF to create a post

    Hello,

Previous to my last update to 1.6.1 the date format when creating a post from a form was yyyy-mm-dd. It appears that it has now switched to mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy. This is creating problems because any new post that are being created have the wrong date because of the translation between the date formats.

I am having problems in verifying this because today is 11/11/2011. i.e. this date is the same for mm/dd/yyyy (US format) and dd/mm/yyyy (Australian format).

Could you please check it out.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

  2. Which date are you referring to? Are you referring to the Date Field?

Prior to 1.6.1 the Date Field wasn't honoring the settings that you configure in the Date Field options for the format. It was always using the yyyy-mm-dd format. Now the date field stores the date when creating a post in the option that you configure in the date field itself. So you need to select the format in the date field on your form.
