Date of submission merge tag + 28 days

  1. Hi
Is it possible to put into a notification email a merge tag that will give me the date of submission +28 days?

The date of submission tag is {date_dmy} - can I do something to create a future date?
    Thanks
    Kevin

  2. Excuse me, Gravity Forms Staff...

Was my question in some way offensive that it has been completely ignored? I can't see why else I am still waiting for a reply when I am a paid up subscriber to your product.

Over two pages of responses have been made since I posted this request, so I can't see its a matter of priority. Perhaps the question was not clear - in which case ask me to clarify. Perhaps it can't be done - in which case please say so. Perhaps the answer is in your documentation - in which case point me in the right direction because I have looked and cannot find it.

Leaving me with no response whatsoever is not really very professional.

  3. Kevin,

Sorry that your post got missed, it's nothing intentional. We realize that the forums are not the best method to provide support as things get missed quickly. We'll be changing this very soon and moving away from the forums.

You will want to take a look at creating a custom merge tag:
    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gform_merge_tags

Also, take a look at http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gform_replace_merge_tags as well to replace the text, one adds it to the list, the other replaces the data

In the future, since you are a dev license holder, I'd recommend using the priority support form: http://www.gravityhelp.com/priority-support/

  4. Thank you for responding Rob, apology accepted.

So there are no standard functions to allow for this kind of manipulation of existing merge tags? I'm surprised this kind of request hasn't come up before. We'll come up with our own and I'll post it back here as I'm sure it will be useful to more people than just me.
