Date Picker Working in Preview, Not in Live

  1. Popout calendar shows as partial empty box. Droplr Screenshot: http://d.pr/tu8i

I have looked at the other posts dealing with this, and my theme does use the wp_head() and wp_footer()... I am using ithemes Builder.

Any ideas what to do next?

The site is being developed locally. I can put it on the web if that's necessary.

    Thanks!

  2. If the datepicker works in preview but not in the front end, you have a script conflict caused by either the theme or a plugin. Gravity Forms uses the jQuery datepicker script and if that script cannot run on the front end, the datepicker won't work.

You need to test for plugin or theme conflicts by following the instructions here:
    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

Did you discover the conflict? I had the exact problem with the truncated calendar graphic. Disabling all plugins solved the problem but after I re-activated each one (one by one) the problem was gone. Not the preferred solution, but works.

  4. @TTringas Unfortunately sometimes WordPress works in strange ways, i've encountered similar situations with plugins and themes where something wouldn't work and then after deactivating everything and reactivating everything it just worked.

Actually discovered it was a conflict with the Mailchimp Crowd Favorite plugin. I think it loads another version of the JQuery Datepicker.
