Decimals in the Quantity Field

  1. So I think I shot myself in the foot by bringing up the workaround that I was using and having it be called a bug. http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/quantity-field-and-decimal-follow-on-question#post-56574.
That 'bug' has now been fixed and so I am wondering if there is anyone out there using a 'purchasing' type of form that needs decimals to be used in the purchased quantity and how they are going about doing this.
Side note, I disagree that this is a bug. It seems silly to me that you need a whole number to purchase something. I want to purchase 1.5lbs of coffee or .25lb of tea or 1.8grams of gold, 3.5yards of mulch etc, etc... Why limit the field?

    Thanks for any help.
