Deleted HTML and entire form deleted

  1. Hello,
I just finished the form and previewed it . About 8 hours worth of work.

There was a heading at the top that was the same name as the name of the form. When I deleted the heading, the entire form was deleted.

I have a site back up - can you tell me the name of the file I need to retrieve or its location so that I can at least get back half of the day's work?

    Thanks.

  2. If you're talking about the form editor, the top "heading" IS the form title. That is also where you edit the form settings. If you delete that, you're essentially deleting the entire form.

I can't see any circumstance where you would end up with a duplicate of the form title on the form editor page.

The forms themselves are stored in the database, not in a file unless you had exported it prior to deleting. Unless you did export a backup of the form (xml) or have a backup of your database you can restore it from, you're going to have to recreate the form.
