Deleted the standard form field

  1. Hi Gravityforms-Team,

after I build a very long form for hours I accidentally deleted the very first field (form field), where you enter the confirmation message, form button, description of the form and title of the form. Is there any way to get this insert again? I really need it for the confirmation page message and for the form button. I didn't see any field on the right side, which says form field or something like that.

Please help, since it is a very long form with over 100 fields, I really don't want to build this again, just because I deleted the first field. I tried to duplicate the form and it works fine with the form field in it, but that would mean I have to change all css classes again. I hope there is an easier way to get the form field back.

    Thanks a lot!

  2. Are you referring to the area that contains the Form Title and Description? Which also houses the tab for Confirmation? If so then that isn't a field. That is your form. If you clicked the "Delete" button that "field" then you clicked on the "Delete Form" link/button. This deletes your form.

That first field isn't a field. It's the form setup itself. The "Delete" icon and link when you hover over this says "Delete Form" and if you clicked on it... and then clicked the OK button on the confirmation popup... you deleted your entire form.

  3. Hey Carl,

correct, that was the delete form button, but it didn't delete the form, furtunately. Everything is still there, except this, and it works fine. So there is no way to get this recovered?

    thanks!

  4. That's unusual. You might be able to export the form, then import it again and see if it re-builds it properly with the form options.
